It’s hard to believe that 2024 is behind us! So before we get wrapped up in the momentum of 2025, let’s pause to celebrate our amazing community of Interior Designers & Architects by sharing their top moments of 2024.

CRYSTAL SINCLAIR DESIGNS
Crystal Sinclair Designs is a small innovative husband and wife full-service interior design firm founded in 2019 based out of New York.
If you’re not familiar with their work seen in Living Etc, House & Gardens, Arch Digest and so many more, there’s a deeply hued and playful tone to their well-scaled project portfolio.
Here Crystal recounts a familiar yet pinnacle moment when an interior designer gets to the finish line, and is finally able to share their vision with the world. “Best moment - I would say photographing our Fifth Avenue Project. It was a two year project - so we were so happy to see the client finally move into their new space!”

Gala Magriña, Keynote Speaker at ASID North Florida Chapter Event
GALA MAGRIÑA DESIGN
Gala Magriña Design is a multi-hyphenate designer with a focus on creating holistic spaces, and providing holistic interior design education.
Gala Magriña recounts her best moment of 2024, a culmination of nearly 20 years in the industry, several accreditations and the discipline of meditation.
“This year I was asked to be the Keynote Speaker at ASID North Florida Chapter Event. It was the second time I got to do my new talk: Going Beyond Spaces: A Badass Approach To Life + Business for Designers, and it was a HUGE success. I had designers coming up to me after the talk giving me hugs, crying, all the things. It felt really good to take 20 years of personal and professional learnings and put it into a talk that helps other designers.”

Pistachio Designs, led by Elaine Thompson, is a residential interior decorating firm based in NYC.
“My best moment of 2024 was absolutely the birth of my son, George, in the spring. But right before I went on maternity leave, I wrapped up design plans for a gem of a kitchen in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. The majority of the kitchen renovation was completed during my leave, but connecting with the clients and GC partner in the fall to see the finished space was so satisfying and rewarding. It was a great reminder how impactful a well thought-out kitchen plan can be and I was honored to have played a part in making the space beautiful and functional for these wonderful clients.”
Pistachio Designs is know for its fun mix of pattern and color, adding panache to any project with its bright and joyous principal, Elaine Thompson, leading the effort.

Our team developed a vibrant interior that embodied the client's brand identity while expanding our studio's design aesthetic. The outcome was a genuine partnership between design team and our client."

Here Claire shares her top moments of 2024. “In the fall of 2024, my husband and I purchased our dream project, a chalet in the Catskills Region of New York. It was coupled with the launch of The Guide, my design firm’s online magazine, which will feature the transformation of the Chalet into a show house of my wildest dreams!”
