While life seemingly begins to return to pre-pandemic life, many people still spend large amounts of time in their homes. Houses and apartments have become all-inclusive spaces for living, study, work, play, and rest - but accommodating all of these additional activities in the same space that previously served limited functions can be challenging! As a result, more space, natural light, personalized rooms, and more clearly denoted home offices or school rooms intensified in the last year. The importance of mental health also became a priority, with inviting indoor spaces contributing to more positive quarantine experiences. Silvana Vergara of Vergara Interiors transformed a cozy one-bedroom Grammercy apartment into a roomier and thoughtfully crafted haven.
