Ahmad AbouZanat of Project AZ is an interior designer raised in Beirut, Lebanon. He is one of the co-founders of Interior Collab and a very active member. Ahmad always surprises us with his sophisticated and elegant approach to interior design as he creates impeccable spaces without sacrificing comfort. His approach aims to find furniture and art that demands your attention while keeping everything else subtle.
This post is a testament to his rich yet sober style and was featured in Interior Design Magazine. In this elegant NYC apartment, Ahmad works with a monochrome color palette, along with a few accents of color and different textures. The statement pieces that particularly stand out in this image include the oak wood coffee table, the ceiling fixture in the dining room, and the sculptures, which are all hallmarks of Ahmad’s signature style.
We introduced this image to our feed in time to reflect on this year’s isolation in quarantine and the importance of togetherness, which so many times involves gathering at dinner tables with family and friends.
Here we see a welcoming space designed by the Los Angeles based boutique Interior Design Studio Nine Dot Design led by Kaitlin Thomas. She has been a part of Interior Collab from its inception and has wowed us with her ability to mold her designs to her client’s needs and personality, while her style consistently emanates light and freshness.
The image depicts the dining area of one her projects, located in Sherman Oaks. Here we witness a high contrast color palette with a richness of textures combining wood, woven objects, lamps and rich three-dimensional wall art. This diversity and dimension add movement, warmth and liveliness to the space.

The above is a classic kitchen which was fully renovated by Ana Claudia Design Studio. It shows how designers can really perform magic in a space. She brought some fresh air to a worn-out and dull kitchen, turning it into a cheerful and bright space which is very inviting. The use of white cabinets and terra cotta tiles bring light to this kitchen while the wooden floor adds warmth.
The Brazilian designer Ana Claudia began her career in Architecture before falling in love with Interior Design. Ana Claudia´s design process always includes connecting with her clients on a personal level, to guarantee that her proposals are tailored to their styles and needs down to the smallest detail.
This image was dropped right in time for some much needed calm and soothing vibes in the middle of this year’s craze. This dining room by Emi Young of Abundant Habitat makes us look forward to brighter days when we will all gather around the table. It is a perfect reflection of Emi’s work as it radiates a sense of peace and calm with the use of bright white and muted colors in the walls and furniture, paired with appealing art pieces. It is a space that invites introspection.
The Brooklyn based designer brings a holistic approach to interior design. She aims to deliver a design that takes care of your home, body and soul. In addition to her design background, Emi is certified in Acupuncture, Oriental Medicine and Feng Shui, all of which she integrates into her interior design profession. As a founding member of Interior Collab, we have been able to get a closer look at her wonderful designs which convey her intention to bring her clients on a journey to transform their lifestyle on a holistic level.
