Jill Romine Interior Design is a multidisciplinary design firm that approaches interior design via the art of storytelling. We create spaces that speak volumes about those who inhabit them without having to use many words at all. Our design language is one of unconventional gestures while honoring the basic principles of design in the foundation of our work. Though we stand firm in our design convictions, our ultimate goal is to amplify your vision, not dictate it. Guided by our expertise from initial concept to final installation, we build environments that are bold, inventive, and unapologetically distinct. Our projects span both US coastlines, with our headquarters in New York City.
Jill’s expertise was honed early in her career while working at boutique architecture and design firms, where the integrated experience broadened her skills beyond one area of focus in the field. When she moved to Los Angeles in 2014, Jill took a unique role as the West Coast designer for celebrity and VIP clients with the global luxury brand, RH.
After a five-year love affair with LA, Jill returned to NYC eager to re-immerse herself in the East Coast design scene amongst peers and old colleagues. Instead, a West Coast client invited her to redesign their beachfront home in Santa Barbara County. Accepting the opportunity marked the beginning of her eponymous design firm. Since 2019, Jill has been leading her team in designing residential and commercial projects from coast to coast.
An advocate for social justice, equality, and human rights, Jill believes that beauty is essential to well being. Much like our freedom, beautiful interior design has become a luxury that is often exclusive. Her ultimate mission is to create beautiful, inclusive environments that bridge the gap between private and public so beauty can be experienced equally in a world that desperately needs it.
